Sand Screw Conveyor Replacement Build

A customer called about a broken sand screw conveyor needing repair.
After inspection, we realized it was so worn out that repair would not be possible without repeat servicing being required.
The customer advised 17 week lead time.
We committed to a 5 day turn around to make a new one from scratch.
We fabricated and built a new screw conveyor, and installed in 5.5 days!
Customer went into production thereafter.Â
On the 6th day, we returned for evening shift to finalize the wear plates.
